AWU aims to assess whether an agent has completed a task, such as writing to a record, rather than just generating text. This approach addresses the criticism that AI agents might not be as valuable in enterprise settings.

Furthermore, Salesforce presented its vision of the future of agents, emphasizing that SaaS companies like Salesforce will dominate the tech stack, while AI model makers will be commoditized work engines at the bottom. This vision contrasts with OpenAI's recent release of its enterprise agent, Frontier, which has raised concerns about the SaaSpocalypse.

To further emphasize their commitment to the AI revolution, Benioff sported a black leather jacket, a nod to the iconic look of Nvidia's Jensen Huang, a prominent figure in the AI industry.
